Information:
The Gambia Scout Association was established in 1921 and has
over 19,000 members. It became a full member of the World
Organization of the Scout Movement in 1984. The WOSM has over
30 million members around the world.
The Chief Scout used to be the former Gambian President Yahya
Jammeh. In 207 David Hafner became Chief Commissioner.
