Energy
(India) Pvt.
Ltd's energy efficient solar lighting products in The
Gambia and the West African sub-region. These products are
aimed at introducing affordable and sustainable lighting solutions
to rural communities as well as urban areas.
These PV products which are designed in the USA and manufactured
in
India
take the form of various room and garden illuminating units
and come with a 1 years warranty. They are intended to be
a safer alternative to candles and are aimed at private residences,
shops and offices in The Gambia.
Photovoltaic Products Lines:-
ZonLight Basic
These are rechargeable torchlights which combine embedded
side solar panels and each unit gives 7-9 hours of light.
It can be used in dual power mode and comes with a lithium
ion battery with a life of 1 to 2 years.
The upgraded version has the addition of charging via the
electrical grid (3 hours) as well as having a mobile phone
charging attachment and adapter.
ZonHome
These are portable, transparent tubes which have an AC / DC
adapter which can be affixed to walls or ceilings. This product
is charged via a portable solar grid panels which stores its
energy into an integrated lithium ion battery which can be
dually charged. These photovoltaic modules can provide more
than 15 hours of continuous light for workplaces, commercial
outlets or family homes.
Zonstreet
These units are high efficiency solar LED lighting with an
integrated battery which allows for simple installation. It
can illuminate a 25sq ft area from a height of 10 feet. It
can operate for 10 hours per day after 8 hours of charging
from the Sun. It has a built in light sensor to automatically
turn off at dawn and turn on at dusk to maximize efficiency.
The ComAfrique-InteliZon Initiative is a simple sustainable
solar rural lighting project that mixes personal and corporate
social responsibility with local village participation, at
an affordable price to make it possible to provide basic clean
energy lighting to rural areas of the Gambia and Africa.
