This little oasis used to be frequented by some urban Gambians wishing to get a little peace and quiet.

At night the only noise you can hear from you bedroom are owls and African field cricket chirping away. In the morning you will most likely be woken by birdsong.

If you looking to stay in the very heart of natural Gambia surrounded by palm trees and visits from the odd local monkey then this place is for you.

For bird watchers looking for somewhere to stay the lodge is a must, as there are large wetlands in the vicinity called the Mandinari Flats, which is a well known sanctuary for many birds species.
