Boule & Co. Gambia Ltd. was founded in Banjul in 1976
as a
general trading firm. Its history traces back to a long family
line of business activities in import / export trading, going
back to the early 1960s. Since then Boule & Company diversified
its activities to include
financial services, duty-free shops, hotel investments and
management and warehousing.
Boule Financial Services:
Boule is located in the tourist resorts such as Kololi. Boule
Financial Services specialises in a currency exchange service.
They will serve overseas visitors and local residents in Gambia;
whether your currency exchange transaction is small or large.
Rate changes: Their objective is to provide the best exchange
rates in The Gambia. To increase their competitiveness they
are constantly reviewing their currency rates at which they
buy and sell foreign currencies.
 Financial Services:
Their core business is the purchase and sale of foreign currencies.
They normally have banknotes of more than 10 countries and
can usually get other currencies at short notice. They are
prepared to buy the forex of most countries, subject to market
conditions. Whether buying or selling, they endeavour to do
so at the best rates available in the region.
They accept payment in cash, banker's draft, inter-bank transfers
and certain other payment methods.
Please let them know if you would like to order in advance
a particular sum of foreign money, this way you can be more
confident that the money you need will be available before
your travel. There is usually no charge for this service,
but they may ask for a deposit if the currency is a less-common
one or if the amount is substantial. Conversely, if you want
to sell a less-common currency or a large amount, they can
provide a more timely service if you call them ahead of time.
Boule & Co. staff will ask to see a
government-issued ID / passport which bears your photo.
Duty Free Shop:
Since 1997 The Gambia has had a more modern style airport
with reasonable facilities such as a restaurant and bar, a
VIP lounge, banking amenities and a business centre. Inside
the airport departure lounge is the Duty-Free shop which offers
you a decent selection of consumer items.
You can buy all your duty free goods such as electronic gadgets,
fragrances, drinks, jewellery, time pieces and more.
The NTC Duty Free shop offers items priced lower than most
duty free shops around the world. To pass the time browse
around the NTC Duty Free shop while you wait for your departure
flight.
Kokoto Souvenir Shop:
The shop on the Kololi's Senegambia strip has a broad range
of tourist souvenirs.
