You
should note that chartered airlines
from Bristol International Airport (BRS) to Banjul only fly between
November to April each year. It is possible to find flights
between May to October using an alternative airport.
The availability of seats are on the days of Tuesday and Friday
from November to April.
Flights from Bristol are available on Tuesdays and Fridays during
the peak season with departures between the early November, to
the end of April. These are operated by a German independent charter
airline, Hamburg International Airways (IATA code 4R), running
a fleet of Boeing 737-700 on behalf of Gambia Experience package
holidays operator.
Bristol Airport also receives regular services from a number of
airports in the Channel Islands, Ireland as well as the UK. These
are Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Norwich, Newquay,
Plymouth, Dublin, Shannon, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness, Glasgow,
Bradford, Newcastle, Manchester,
Belfast, Cork and Belfast International.
Along with the option of 7 or 14 nights on offer, durations of
10 or 11 nights or even short stays of 3 to 4 nights are available.
For example you can fly to The Gambia on a Tuesday for 10 days
and return to Bristol on a Friday, or depart on a Friday for 11
nights and return to Bristol on a Tuesday. Note that these tend
to be more costlier than the 9 to 12 night duration. |
