Information:
The Elton Oil Company is a downstream Senegalese owned firm
which operates in Gambia & Senegal. It is essentially
a retail, marketing & distribution company with a branch
network of petrol stations selling gasoline, diesel, gasoil
& various lubricants from Castrol & tires from Bridgestone.
The company was incorporated in June 2001 and opened its first service
station for business in April 2002 on Kairaba Avenue.
Other Services:
They operate the Gambia's first automatic car wash. There
is also a car services area as well as a retail shop which
which sells a wide range of products from spare parts to lubricants.
Other services include a high pressure car wash, tire and
oil changes, brake tuning, tracking adjustments and more.
Located on the bottom of the station is Eden's convenience shop
selling standard retail products such as toiletries, drinks and
snacks. On the top of the station are a range of services such as a
cybercafé, a business centre and an open air restaurant serving
fish and chips, traditional Gambian dishes and other foods from the
menu.
In collaboration with West Coast Radio Elton Oil (Gambia) have sponsored a
programme called "Driver-Bi". It is
intended to educated the public on road safety issues.
