Information:
Gamtours was the first Ground Tour Operating Company in The
Gambia. The company was established in 1968 and was called
Vingressor. In 1985 Vingressor was taken over by the Gambia
Government and given its new name Gambia National Tours. In
1990 it was privatized and is now owned by
Mr. Batch Samba Faye.

Gamtours provides transfers to and from Banjul International
Airport and also from Dakar in neighbouring Senegal.
Gambia National Tours, previously known as Wing Afric (the
first and oldest ground tour operating company in The Gambia
around 1969) was bought by
Batch Faye and three other partners. Later on he bought out
his partner's shares and became majority share holder.
