stuffs importing mainly groceries such as bags of rice, cooking
oil, flour, sugar, fruits, ice cream, and frozen fish, vegetables,
meat, whole chickens and legs.
Their main base at Buckle Street in the Banjul capital. Here
they have a number of cold stores and beverage cold rooms

3 warehouses to their retail outlets. They have a further
warehouse on the Kankujeri Road (formerly Bund Road) and the
Kanifing Industrial Estate.
They also operate a chain of supermarkets with the most prominent
being the Kairaba Supermarket and Shopping Centre which is

The Kairaba Shopping Centre:
The supermarket is located on Kairaba Avenue

largest supermarket in The Gambia. Behind the building are
large rooms which can directly receive container loads of
food and other products. At the front end there are 5 cash
registers equipped with bar code scanning equipment.
As you enter the building from the ground floor you will see
dozens of aisles running straight down to the back which have
on their shelves fresh vegetables, fruits, coffee, cereals,
beverages, toiletries, fizzy drinks, juices and dairy products.
In the back, there is the fresh and frozen meat area as well
as the soft and hard cheese display with a stand-by assistant
to help you cut and wrap your selection.
On the top floor they sell non-food items such as napkins,
toys, furniture, sports equipment, flowers, kids toys, shoes,
cutlery, kitchen utensils, school bags and other hardware
items.
A unique feature of the Kairaba Shopping Centre is the supermarket's
