How To Send Money To Gambia in Person:
Find
a MoneyGram International agent using the 'Find Us'
link. Go to your MoneyGram agent, taking
along acceptable identification with you.
Fill out a 'send' form and hand this to the MoneyGram
agent as well as the money you want to send which will
include the transfer fee. You will be given
a special reference number. Inform the person
to whom youre sending the money, and give them the
special reference number. In most cases in around 10
minutes the funds will be available to be received.
On top of the transfer fees applied to a transaction,
a currency exchange rate established by MoneyGram or
its agents may be used. Note: prices are subject to
change.
How To Receive Money in Gambia: Ask the person
who is sending you money to give you your reference
number this will assist in your collection in a timely
manner. Visit a MoneyGram
agent agent in Gambia, taking some identification
and your reference number with you. Complete
our 'receive' form and show your ID you will then
be given your money, usually in the local currency of
the Dalasi.
Note:
You may be required to provide ID, in normally one or
more of a number of ways i.e. national identity card,
driving license or your passport. You may also be required
to provide proof of address (bank statement or utility
