Functions:
The ministries aims are four fold:
(1) Increase agricultural
output,
(2) Meet the food requirements of the
population from the land of Gambia,
(3) Provide gainful employment
and income for the agricultural labour force,
(4) Generate foreign exchange through value-added agriculture
related activities.
Other Information:
NADA is
responsible for promoting and coordinating the development of
agriculture in The Gambia. It was formed in 2007 to bring
together various services under the Ministry of
Agriculture.
