Review:
The Sandplover beach bar & restaurant serve a fish
and meat based menu along with their regular bar service.
Due to its size there is a fairly limited drinks and
food menu but this is more than made up for by the truly
serene location right on the beach. There is very little
noise and it's a great place to spend Saturday or Sunday
afternoons with the children.
The place is unique because one of the one ways to get
to it is from a rickety wooden bridge going through
the mangroves so no high heels please. Hold tight!
Directions:
From the Atlantic Road go past African Village Hotel
and towards Cape Point. At the Bakau Craft Market roundabout
turn right and go straight down for about half a kilometer
and it is at the end of a wooden bridge.
