3) 4 tbsp of tomato paste ![](images/clear-3.jpg)
4) 2 bay leaves ![](images/clear-3.jpg)
5) 2 cups oil ![](images/clear-3.jpg)
6) 3 gloves garlic ![](images/clear-3.jpg)
7) 2 carrots ![](images/clear-3.jpg)
8) 1 large tomato ![](images/clear-3.jpg)
9) 1 medium cassava ![](images/clear-3.jpg)
10) 1/2 small cabbage ![](images/clear-3.jpg)
11) Salt and pepper to taste

1) Wash Catfish thoroughly with hot water & lime.

2) Blend onions and chopped tomatoes. ![](images/clear-3.jpg)
3) Fry blended onion mixture with tomato paste for 5
minutes. ![](images/clear-3.jpg)
4) Then add 5 cups of water and seasonings. ![](images/clear-3.jpg)
5) Insert Catfish and vegetables and bring to boil.

6) When almost cooked, reduce heat and re-season to

7) Cover partly with lid and leave to simmer slowly.
Serve with plain, boiled rice. ![](images/clear-3.jpg)
