The RVTH
eye clinic is West Africa's Regional Ophthalmic Training Programme.
The clinic deals with eye diseases and ailments such as the
treatment of trachoma and and perform eye operations such
as cataracts.
The Department of Ophthalmology is accredited by the West
African College of Surgeons for a Diploma in Ophthalmology
Training courses.
