Review: This is a 2 star budget hotel on the edge of a thin beach cliff. It began full operations in 1974 with 28 rooms. It is in an urban setting on the main Atlantic Rd. in a sometimes boisterous junction with blaring music during the tourist season as it has several diners at the front.

Review: From the outside this is a one-of-a-kind building with holiday suites in arrangements from 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms for families and groups. The apartments are in a quiet neighbourhood & are a short walk to diners, bars & the tourist night spot of Senegambia in Kololi.

Review: The 4 star Laico Atlantic a was first opened in 1979 and is Banjul's only tourist-class accommodation. Towards the ocean is an open-air cafe set under the rhun palms and tamarisks; there is also a beach barbecue zone which is great to be at in the evenings. The downside is that there is almost no tourist entertainment outside of the hotel.
