Information: Bansang Hospital is situated 200 miles
up-river from Banjul. It was built in 1938 by the colonial
government and today it has room for 160 patients yet
its catchment area has a population of over 600,000.
In order to improve the facilities there is an appeal
called the Bansang Hospital Appeal, UK, a registered
charity raising funds for the health facility.
