| Review:
This is a highly regarded eco-tourist accommodation which
is run by the local community for their own benefit. Each
beach side hut is fairly Spartan but clean and spacious,
and each bedroom has its own private shower and flushing
toilet. Other little touches that add charm and desirability
are beachside hammocks under the palm trees, a craft shop
selling locally made souvenirs, a bird watching platform
for ornithologists and fishing equipment for dedicated
and amateur anglers. This peaceful hideaway has solar
power to run the basic essentials for the lodge. |

Madiyana is on an almost deserted beach stretch of Atlantic
Ocean beachfront. It has 8 huts, each sleeping 2 people
on double or twin beds. Because it is run on environmentally
friendly principles there are shared bathing facilities
and WCs. The lodge has a well-designed seaside drinks
bar and diner which is well stocked. *Airport pick-up
& drop-off service to the Niumi National Park, North
Bank Region, Lower Niumi District. |
